At Shifting Perspective Counselling, I offer a safe, supportive space—free from judgment—where you're truly heard. It's a place to explore challenges, gain new insights, and begin meaningful change at your own pace.

Whether you're facing anxiety, grief, self-doubt, separation, parenting challenges, or a major life transition, support is available—and progress is possible. I work with individuals, as well as parents, children, and teens who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. Everyone deserves a space where they can speak freely and begin to make sense of what they’re going through.

I also support clients navigating the mental demands of performance, whether in sport, school, or high-pressure work, helping them build clarity, confidence, and a mindset that supports growth.

I’m Kimberly Freeman, a registered counsellor with a background in psychology. Whether you're grieving a loved one, the end of a relationship, a career change, or a part of yourself you no longer recognise—this space is for you.

Support is available in-person on the Sunshine Coast or online across Australia.

Sessions

Booking is easy, either online, through text or a call. No referral necessary.

       Monday-Thurs     10-8pm

      Saturday               1-5pm

Please note- I'm not always able to answer my phone or respond to emails straight away, as I'm often in client sessions. I value each individuals time and am committed to providing dedicated support during our sessions. If you leave a message or email, I will get back to you as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • Is counselling confidential?
    Yes. Everything you share is kept private, with a few legal exceptions.
  • Do you offer online sessions?
    Yes, we offer online and in-person appointments with an alternative schedule to suit your needs.
  • What issues do you help with?
    We support people experiencing grief, anxiety, burnout, relationship breakdowns, as well as FIFO families, and those who are looking for non judgement support.
